Hi! I’m Karielys (most know me as “Kary”). I was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico in 1990. When I was seven my parents moved to Miami, Florida where I’ve lived ever since. My work and contributions are heavily influenced by my interests in psychology, religion, art and design. I earned a double BA in Psychology & Religious Studies from Florida International University and a BFA from Miami International University of Art & Design. I've been in the creative industry since 2012. When I first began, I had so many questions and it was difficult to get resources and knowledge from the pros. As a result, I began creating an archive of “answers” I'd find that helped me as a student, designer, business owner, creative director, and pretty much any endeavor I've gone through in the last eleven years. As I reflect on my own human experiences, my greatest desire is to be a contributor to our confidence as creatives. My hope is that in exploring these archives, you find the answers and confidence you’re searching for. We all have doubts — together we can remove some of the haze and move towards making more beautiful things!
